Warranty and insurance

Warranty

Two warranties: the shingle maker covers the materials (up to 50 years on top-tier systems, depending on the maker’s program), and we cover our workmanship for 10 years. If our work leaks, we come back and fix it free.

Insurance

If hail or wind damaged the roof, insurance may pay for the replacement minus your deductible. We document the damage with photos and meet your adjuster. In Texas, a roofer cannot waive or pay your deductible, and we never will.

Permits and code

The City of Houston requires a permit for re-roofing. We pull it, schedule the city inspection and give you the sign-off.

Roof replacement questions

How long does a roof replacement take?

Most single-family homes take one day, two for large or steep roofs. Rain delays add a day.

Do I need to be home?

No. We text you photos as we go. We do need the garage clear of cars near the drive and pets inside.

Can you go over my old roof?

Texas building code allows a second layer in some cases, but we don’t recommend it: you can’t see or fix the decking, and it shortens the new roof’s life.

Will it be noisy?

Yes, during tear-off. Most people work from a back room or leave for the morning.

How much does a new roof cost in Houston?

Most homes land between $9,000 and $22,000 for architectural shingles. Use the instant quote for your home.

Do you offer financing?

Yes, with monthly payment options. We check your rate at the free inspection.
