Storm damage roof repair in Cypress, TX
Dated photos within 24 hours of your inspection. Tarp the same or next day.
Cypress was hit hard by the May 16, 2024 derecho. The National Weather Service found two EF-1 tornadoes in southern Cypress that night; one damaged numerous roofs and windows near the Lone Star College-CyFair campus. Over a million homes across the Houston area lost power.
Wind damage on a Cypress roof is easy to miss from the ground. Creased shingles, lifted tabs and loose ridge caps can look fine from the driveway and still let water in at the next storm. We walk the roof, photograph every hit, and mark each slope on a diagram.
Much of Cypress is unincorporated Harris County, with large communities like Bridgeland, Towne Lake, Coles Crossing and Fairfield. Most have HOAs with rules on shingle color, so we confirm the color before any repair or replacement.
If the damage is real, you get a file your insurance adjuster can use. If it is not, we tell you, and you do not file.
