How much does a tow cost in Houston?
Our flatbed hook-up is $125 plus $5 a mile, so a 12-mile tow is about $185. After-hours calls between 9 PM and 6 AM add $45.
Is my car towed from private property legally?
Texas law requires signs and photos for private property tows, and caps what a company can charge for private property tows. Ask us for the photos if you think your car was towed wrong.
How much does it cost to get my car out of the lot?
Texas limits storage at a vehicle storage facility to about $23 a day for a standard car, and we release cars within an hour. We take cash, debit and credit.
Do you tow all-wheel-drive cars?
Yes, on a flatbed with all four wheels off the ground. Towing an AWD car with its wheels down can damage the drivetrain.
Are you licensed to tow in Texas?
Yes. We hold a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation towing company license (demo license), and every driver holds a driver license from TDLR.

We bill your motor club or insurance for you when we can. Have your member number ready.
How fast can you get here?
It depends on traffic and where our trucks are. We give you an arrival time when you call.
Do you tow from freeways?
Yes. Stay in the car with your seat belt on if it is unsafe to stand outside, and tell us your mile marker.
Flatbed tows for AWD, EV and luxury cars
Do you tow all-wheel-drive cars?
Yes, on a flatbed with all four wheels off the ground. Towing an AWD car with its wheels down can damage the drivetrain.
Can you tow an electric car?
Yes, on a flatbed. EVs should not be towed on their wheels in most cases, so check the owner’s manual.
Will the flatbed scratch my low car?
We use ramps and straps made for low cars, and we photograph the car before and after.
Is a flatbed more expensive?
Usually a little more than a wheel-lift. Ours is $125 plus $5 a mile.
Jump starts
How long does a jump start take?
The jump takes a few minutes. Getting to you depends on traffic and where our trucks are.
What if the car dies again?
The battery or charging system is likely bad. We can test and replace the battery, or tow you to a shop.
Can you jump a hybrid or EV?
Many hybrids have a 12-volt battery that can be jumped. Check the owner’s manual or tell us the car.
Can I just buy a jump pack?
Yes, and it is a good idea. But a dead battery usually needs to be tested too.
Flat tire help
Can you fix the flat tire?
We swap on your spare. Patching is done at a tire shop, and we can tow you there.
What if I have no spare?
We tow you to a tire shop. Many newer cars have a sealant kit instead of a spare.
What are locking lug nuts?
Special nuts that need a key. If you do not have it, tell us when you call.
Is it safe to drive on a donut spare?
Only for short trips at low speed. Replace it with a full tire soon.
Lockouts and fuel
Will you damage my door?
No. We use tools made to open cars without scratching. We photograph the car first.
What if my keys are inside a running car?
Call us. We can unlock it, and tell us if a child or pet is inside so we can send help fast.
Can you deliver gas?
Yes. We bring a few gallons, enough to get you to a station.
Do I need ID?
Yes. We confirm you own the car before we open it.
Winch-outs
Can you pull my car out of a ditch?
Yes, if we can reach it. We check the ground and plan the pull to avoid damage.
Will the winch damage my car?
We use straps and rated anchor points to keep the pull gentle.
What if my car is flooded?
Do not start it. Water in the engine can ruin it. Call us for a tow.
How much does a winch-out cost?
Our winch-out add-on is $150. The tow after is priced separately.
