How much do dental implants cost in Houston?

One implant with an abutment and crown usually runs about $3,000 to $6,000 in Houston. A full arch is often $15,000 to $35,000 per jaw. These are typical ranges, not quotes, and your fee depends on your exam and scan.

Am I a candidate for implants?

It depends on your bone, gums and health. Smoking, uncontrolled diabetes and some medicines can change the plan. Your exam and 3D CT scan answer this.

Does insurance cover implants?

Some dental plans pay part, but yearly limits are often $1,000 to $2,000. We check your benefits and show what you would owe in writing.

Does it hurt?

The area is numbed, and many people feel pressure, not sharp pain. Some soreness for a few days is common. Sedation is an option, and the dentist explains the risks.

Is your dentist a specialist?

No. Our dentist is a general dentist who places implants. When a case needs an oral surgeon or periodontist, we refer you.

Usually about $3,000 to $6,000 for the implant, abutment and crown. Ours starts at $3,800, and grafts or extraction cost extra if you need them.

How long does it take?

Often 3 to 6 months from surgery to final crown, and longer if a graft is needed first.

How long do implants last?

Many last for many years with good care, but no outcome is guaranteed. Smoking and gum disease raise the risk of problems.

Full-arch implant teeth

Many patients leave with a temporary arch, but it depends on your bone and how the implants seat. The dentist will tell you after surgery.

Is full-arch better than a denture?

It stays fixed and does not cover the roof of your mouth, but it costs more. A snap-in denture is a lower cost option.

Will checking hurt my credit?
